I'm hoping it was the former since that can be fixed over time. It would be discouraging to have a new restaurant with such potential lose customers so soon after they opened. Of course, them being crowded is something out of their control (but a good thing in my opinion!). I was there on a Thursday. I'm thinking my good experience was directly related to your bad one. I believe they learned from their mistakes and changed the way they run things during busy times. I'd recommend giving them another shot when you've got time. That’s too bad about your experience.
